Among the most important things to note: 2 doses are needed to protect you from getting COVID-19 and the CDC is recommending offering the vaccine to healthcare personnel and long-term care residents initially. While the safety of COVID-19 vaccines is CDC’s top priority, there is little information known about the vaccine candidates living with kidney disease or transplant recipients. As more information becomes available will be updating our stories with more information.
