New Kidney Health Initiatives from the White House
**New health initiatives** to fight kidney disease announced today! We’re excited to hear there will be streamlined rules for organ procurement and kidney available transplants as so many people die while they’re waiting to get on the transplant list let alone finding a possible match. Homecare and early preventive care will hopefully improve the quality of care for all kidney patients. Also, for the selfless organ donors they will receive reimbursement of additional expenses, lost wages and childcare when they make the most important decision to share their spare.
